When a particular product or way of doing things has stood the test of time, it is probably superior to alternatives in at least some respects. But — say it with me — you cannot tell someone else how to feel.

Leaders should over-invest in structural reassurance, providing abundant information, education, training, mentors, and support systems. Yet countless numbers of people try in vain to change the opinions and thoughts of others.
Aging is a way to remind ourselves that time is precious. The past is forever lost and there is no way we can recover it. We also do not spend countless hours focusing on that pain and making the situation worse. We hold on to waiting on God, when God is often inviting us to step out and execute the change He has provided.
Their lack of action drains motivation, faith and hope. Where we came from does not limit what we can become or achieve, but our background is something we have no control over. What you can do is clarify what you mean, or talk about how you view the issue, or discuss your feelings and intentions.
Also, there are areas of life that really should be unaffected by this sort of bias -- in domains like art or cuisine, how long something has been around should have little to do with how aesthetically pleasing or delicious you find it. When you are managing change, this can require a great deal of time and effort and hands-on management is usually the best approach.

People do – or they don’t. If employees don’t trust leadership, don’t share the organization’s vision, don’t buy into the reason for change – there will be no successful change – regardless of how brilliant the strategy.
Much of the depression, sadness and anxiety that people feel today is because they do not accept change. Many of them are terrified of change so they cling to what they want to preserve.
Whether it is health, materialism, loved ones, wealth, etc, the one thing we can be certain of is that it will not last. Accept that some people were meant to be in your life for a moment, not a lifetime. The length of a friendship doesn't invalidate the experiences you've shared and the things you overcame together.
It’s not that these things can’t change – but if they are going to, that has to come from within the person with the habit, not an outside person who doesn’t like it. And when it comes to the really #dark habits and addictions, like booze and drugs, this is doubly true.
I don't go by or change my attitude based on what people say. At the end of the day, they, too, are judging me from their perspective. I would rather be myself and let people accept me for what I am than be somebody who I am not, just because I want people's approval.Download
